Valmont produces steel tubing that conforms the standards set out by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). Below is a listing of the standard ASTM specification that we produce steel tubing to. If there is an ASTM specification not listed or if you have a special shape unique to your requirements, please inquire with us as to our capability to produce to.

Our in-house metallurgical lab offers quick turnaround destructive testing and mill certifications, material verification to our customers, along with prototype development assistance for your new applications.

Testing Options

Depending upon the OD size, end use and type of steel that you require, testing requirements will vary according to the ASTM standards. If you require testing specifically for your end use, please include those testing requirements with your request for quote and orders.
