ASTM A53 Tubing

A53 Type E Grade A & B

Valmont Tubing produces round electric resistance welded (ERW) steel tubing to meet ASTM specifications A53 Type E Grade A and Grade B that is often used for pressure applications and use in the conveying of gas, vapor, water or other liquids.  While the ASTM A53 specification references nominal pipe sizes (NPS), Valmont produces tubing sizes up to 12.75" OD and in wall thicknesses up to 0.312" nominal that meet the requirements called out for in A53.  Please click on our Tubing Vs. Pipe  comparison page that lists standard pipe sizes and the equivalent tubing OD size and gauges produced by Valmont.
